The Sisters of Mercy Schedule Tour Dates
Everyone’s favorite sisters have scheduled 6 live shows in November - the first since 2006, I think. Unfortunately all shows will be at the House of Blues, but still - The Sisters of Mercy?! Are you kidding?!?! In the words of my roommate, “Do you think this means Andrew will wear Mickey Mouse ears?! Oh, lordy lordy lordy… I think this is one of those signs the world is ending.. Like soon.” What she means: 2008 has already given us (when I say ‘us’ I mean L.A. - not to exclude, sorry) Portishead, The Breeders, Polvo, and upcoming gigs from My Bloody Valentine, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, and Brian Eno & David Byrne. they must have expanded their tour, since they have a show scheduled here in Minneapolis @ First Avenue on Nov. 18th. I can’t wait!

yea i totally had some trouble finding concrete dates - the first i heard of the whole thing was a super-spammy email in the middle of the night, and the date it was advertising seems to be non-existent. im stoked too though!

hhmmmmm what ever , what ever , what ever …we wait as usual with baited breath for andrews next move …. wil they , wont they…. can they , cant they … tours and more tours but when will they let us have the new material amongst our music collections …… ?????? . come on andrew .. some of us were front row at the royal albert hall 85 , thats 23 years of following ! …. for that reason alone i believe we deserve more ….. some of us want more …

i would love more, too - but i doubt it would even approach the calibur it should, so if he asked me i’d tell him not to do it. that show must’ve been amazing by the way. any photos?
