Ghost Town in Oakland, CA put together another amazing night, and Agent Ribbons totally owned it. …wait. You probably don’t know who they are huh?
Agend Ribbons is a two piece (both pieces are totally hot babes) who play bluesy, indie-pop inspired rock; they remind me of early Rilo Kiley, or Tanya Donelly. Or maybe even something like Camera Obscura (Glasgow, not San Diego).
The girls are on tour right now, trying to make their way across the pond (UK or Bust?). Help them out! Add them to your friend’s list on myspace and check out the dates listed below. Or better yet, GO SEE THEM PLAY!
Anyway, Broken Carousel Records put out their new album and before you go buy it from Brokencarouselrecords.com, the generous ladies of Agent Ribbons gave me a copy and said I should post some tracks here for you to download. I do what I’m told.
