A Brief History of The Caldonias
Who the hell are these betches?!? In their own words, “so its basically like this…. bob plays guitar the way nadia sings and nadia sings the way bob plays guitar. and sydney….she fucking gets it man.”
In case that doesn’t sell you, lemme give you my version:
Hailing from the Tri City Area then moving to Olympia, singer Nadia totally understands angst, boredom, Sleater-Kinney, Bikini Kill, and The Gossip. She’s been there. She’s done that. And she got smoked out. Then she started a band called Fierce Perm, which totally owned the underground scene a few years back. That was then.
Now she hails from Portland and fronts a new band. They call this threesome The Caldonias, and I saw ‘em play at Thee Parkside in San Francisco over the weekend - they totally ruled. Like, totally. Thee end.
