So I’m seeing Simian Mobile Disco tomorrow at Pure in Philadelphia. This is the same spot I saw Cut Copy at, and it was absolutely bat shit crazy. If you’re in the area, I highly suggest coming out. The light show kinda looks like this:
I’m sure you can see why I’m stoked. Few shows get me more excited than electronic ones, if only because of the juxtaposition of visuals and the different takes on the artists’ songs.
Also, please find for your listening pleasure: the Beyond the Wizard’s Sleeve remix of “Love.” It’s one of the few tracks on the Sample and Hold remix album that I actually like. (Make no mistake; Attack Decay Sustain Release is a fucking rad record, it’s just, you know, don’t mess with a good thing.)
