NO AGE Cover Bjork Classic
That’s right bitches, Radiohead favorites (I can’t find the photo of Thom Yorke in the No Age Tshirt!) and Los Angeles natives No Age have released into the wild their cover of Bjork’s ‘It’s Oh So Quiet’. I can remember when I was 15, driving upto San Bernardino to see Pink at the Orange Blossom Festival, and listening to Post in the car all the way from Long Beach. There was something familiar about this track, I think maybe I’d seen it on Beavis and Butthead a few years prior (what’s wrong with 9 year olds watching Beavis and Butthead????).
Anyway, I’ve loved it since, and it had a hand in creating fond memories of Pink and really gnarly car drives. No Age wasn’t half bad when they opened for Battles at the Fonda in October, either. Be bummed if you missed that shit. But cheer up! You can go see No Age at Tiny Creatures in Echo Park on April 19th. Click here for more No Age appearances.
