Coming Soon: Keri Hilson on Walmart Soundcheck

The first time I heard Keri Hilson I didn’t know it was Keri Hilson. It was also the first and only time I ever paid for a “RealTone” on my cell phone, and it was also back when I was working in Brea and taking LSAT prep courses near USC. I’d get in the car at 4pm every day and I would’ve bet my life that I’d hear ‘The Way I Are’ on the radio at least 3 times before I got to class (I just never told anyone that I was TOTALLY ok with that. I love that Timbaland record and I don’t care who knows it.)

Anyway, Keri Hilson was the chick featured on that Timbaland track, and her latest single ‘Knocks You Down’ ain’t half bad either. I’m not really too into hip hop or R&B or anything that I hear on the radio more than 5 times a day, 7 days a week, but it hasn’t started bothering me yet. I think it’s got something to do with that awesome photo at the top of this post. I can’t think of anything bad to say about her after seeing such an awesome picture. I even made it the desktop on my Blackberry. No Joke. Look:

The picture is from the Keri Hilson’s in-studio performance for Walmart Soundcheck. The hip-hop diva performed tracks from her impressive debut record, ‘In A Perfect World’ and afterwards she sat down with Soundcheck to dish some dirt on herself & her new record.
