Saturday August 16th Battles (!!!!!!!!!!!), Black Dice (yes, again!!), and Gang Gang Dance are totally gonna get all crazy-like in Central Park (at the SummerStage)
Sunday August 17th will host Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings. Those cats are gonna take over with the kind of old fashioned 60’s soul that will funk you right out of your blues. Bet you didn’t think it was possible to make such funkedafied (how the hell do you spell that word??) noises in the wake of the Ironic Generation, did you? You might as well just stay overnight in the park cause of all that stuff going on a couple days before and all that other stuff going on before that. Central Park seems to house fewer homeless people every time I go, so maybe it wouldn’t be such a bad idea to build a fort, sneak in some wine, and celebrate the last few weeks of summer hobo-style.
