In Their Strange White Armor – Radio Flyer

So when I was like 15 I listened to emo. But not like, the Fall Out Boy/My Chemical Romance stuff that isn’t really emo. Emo like Sunny Day Real Estate and Mineral and Jejune emo. I don’t remember where or why I bought this record (yes, record. It was on vinyl, until my ex boyfriend became an aspiring slasher and practiced on my record collection. Not going there…), but I did, and I remember really, really digging it. But it was gone for so long, and out of sight, out of mind I guess. I didn’t even remember it existed until I was walking to my friend’s house the other day and saw a red Radio Flyer wagon on her neighbor’s front porch. It took me like an hour to even find proof that it existed. Thanks goes out to Hardcore for Nerds, for not only remembering what emo REALLY sounds like, but also for having a pretty damn good post about the long-lost and under-appreciated greatness that was Radio Flyer.

DOWNLOADS

Radio Flyer – (312)
Download the complete album here: Radio Flyer – In Their Strange White Armor (RAR file, you need WINRar or UNRar to extract it). And it looks like you can still buy the record on both vinyl and CD from the Polyvinyl Records webstore. Download it for free here but go buy the record. If vinyl was released with MP3 downloads I’d probably stop downloading music for free. The end.
