This band is like traditional mexican music meets punk rock. Maybe it’s the random tuba. Not sure. Whatever. This is by far the best cover of Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean I’ve ever heard. I can’t tell if I think it’s funny or if it’s good. Download it below. I don’t speak spanish and I don’t think they do either, but they recently did an interview with Acceso Total (the latino version of walmart soundcheck) and, officially, they “discuss their recent tribute to regional Mexican music.” That’s all fine and dandy, and you should totally check it out – lemme know if the free mp3 you can download on the Acceso Total website is nearly as awesome as this track.
