I’m a huge LCD Soundsystem fan, personally — I think James Murphy makes some of the most urgent, emotionally moving music out there (and the dude can certainly produce a record, too). That said, here’s the fucking crazy music video for the excellent new single “Drunk Girls.” If you haven’t heard it yet, grab the track below; I’m not entirely sure why it hasn’t gotten as much love as it should. It basically sounds like a different version “Watch the Tapes” but with less of a bass groove and more hilarious lyrics.
(Note: Watching this video won’t help you understand the song if you’re not already familiar with it. But for God’s sake, it’s the band getting tackled by people dressed up like PANDAS!)

and actually now that i listen i kind of seriously dig it, as far as all this new rip-offy crap goes.
I could see the WLWH influence as well; it's funny, I actually consider this to be the weakest track on the album (the rest are WAY longer and build a lot to create a much more cohesive album). It's like JM threw it on the record to have a single, almost.
Nevertheless, the video is pretty sweet.
i wouldn't say it makes me sick, but it's definitely a white light white heat ripoff. at least it isn't a gang of four rip off, i was getting REALLY sick of that shit.
