Gussy Could Be Your Life

They say that “All you really need to know for now is that Gussy is Josh Gussy and Minna Gussy, and they make music together.” But I say you need to know some other stuff, too. For starters, they’re like, good. And that’s pretty rare isn’t it? GOOD unsigned tunes whose band members add you on myspace? Maybe I am just too picky when it comes to music. I don’t think that’s it though – I think that most music just sucks and when it doesn’t it’s worth writing about. Even with writer’s block. Which Josh Gussy doesn’t seem to suffer from. Their myspace blog is ACTUALLY entertaining. I kinda wish he’d write for us cause he’d probably do a better job with this post. I’m preoccupied, guys, sorry. Really preoccupied.

But not to preoccupied to tell you that if you like Brian Jonestown Massacre, Butthole Surfers, and the idea of the stones circa 1968 doing an acoustic set (which they probably did), you will like this. It’s gritty and soulful and raw and punk as fuck but like, not in that shitty way, ya know? Check out the two tracks below and add Gussy on myspace if you digg ‘em. If you don’t then you’re either deaf, have crappy taste, or you better have a real good reason.
