So I added a bunch of kids as friends on the Fantastic Weapon Myspace page, right (if I missed you, fix that here), and these three kids from Singapore accepted my friend request and gave me something magic. CLASH, The Disko Kids posted one of those “thanks for the add” comments in my profile, but along with it they included a zshare link to their April 2008 mix, Bangers and Mash (likely includes mash-ups of a bunch of Ed Banger hits, right? I think they should’ve called it Bangers and Clash.) Well, IT CUTS THE FUCKING RUG, DUDE. Without help from my feet. It’s–and excuse the vernacular, but this is necessary–of the hizzook! Srsly guys. Way to toss in every single good rap song ever, the Rolling Stones, AND ‘Hang On Sloopy’. I think it made me realize something about myself: I’m a fucking sucker for the mash-up. Sounds cliche but these guys literally threw everything into the mix. You’re gonna be surprised. Love how I don’t even allow for the possiblity that you might not listen to it? That’d be tragic. Oh and it’s somehow even better due to the fact that they added a sample to the beginning of some dude dissing punk rock.
