New Bad Dudes song/video, and the lost retard disco release
I’ve seen these guys play like a gazillion times and I’ve never really been very interested in them, but they seem to draw some pretty gnarly sized crowds. I guess songs like the new one, ‘Eat Drugs’ are the reason why. Lyrics are as follows “I wanna do drugs I wanna do drugs I wanna do drugs I wanna eat drugs I wanna eat drugs I wanna eat drugs…” Clever, hmm? But it sounds like they’ve mixed up Chemical Brothers ‘Block Rockin Beats’ into it, somehow. Listen to the new track on the Bad Dudes myspace page, called ‘Eat Drugs’, from their upcoming (April 15th!) LP, called Eat Drugs, and tell me if I’m right. Oh and also, here’s a new video for the song Eat Drugs (Really now, there’s no need to be redundant…).

BUT, while you’re buying Eat Drugs, you should probably download (for free) the “lost retard disco release” called Two L.A. HO’s by some dude called Coomerz. This 15-year-old skater kid friend-of-a-friend named Coomerz crashed with us one night, didn’t really talk much, then left. But then, months later, he found our phone number and started calling. Usually drunk and very late at night, he’d leave songs on our answering machine. We wanted to compile them as our first release, but then he stopped calling. You can’t harness the wind, you can’t hold fire in your hands. Alas, we did manage to salvage this one song, recorded circa 1999
and guys, it really IS that funny.
